Ray Fishing
Ray fishing for Blonde Ray and Small Eyed Ray is one of my favourite pursuits. These rays feed on the features of the Skerries Bank, or as I like to call it, “the Costa Del Skerries,” just off Start Bay.

Why Ray Fishing?
With such a large bank to choose from, I have plenty of marks where we can anchor and fish. Once we’re anchored, we drop baits from Our Joe into the running tide and wait for the distinctive ray bite to signal it’s time to reel in.
